Admission Information for K1 students (2027-2028)
- Application for Admission:
- Class Structure: Morning and Whole-day classes.
- Age For Admission: Must be born on or before December 31, 2024.
- There is no quota for online applications.
- The following applicants will be automatically granted an interview: Siblings of alumni, siblings of current students, children of staff, and children of board members.
2. Transfer Student Admission:
- Online registration for K1 applicants without a prior interview offer, as well as K2 and K3 transfer students, will be available from 2nd March 2027.
- Applicants should download the application form from our website and submit it by post or in person. Interviews will be arranged subject to availability.
3. Online Application Date and Time:
- Online registration will be available from 9:00 AM on 21st September 2026 to 11:59 PM on 10th October 2026.
- Please note that we do not offer hard copies of the application form at school.
- Please prepare a digital passport-style photo of your child (1.5 x 2 inches, in JPG, GIF, or PNG format) for the online application. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
- Applicants will receive an instant confirmation email upon successful submission. If the confirmation email is not received, please contact the school promptly.
- Notification of interview dates and times will be sent to all applicants on 20th October 2026.
4. Briefing Session for Kindergarten :
- In order for parents to have a better understanding of our school, a briefing session will be held on 3rd October, 2026 from 11:00AM to 12:30PM, which will include an introduction to our vision, mission and curriculum.
- The School Briefing Session is open to the public. Interested participants should complete the registration form by clicking the link under “Admission News” on our website between 1st September and 20th September 2026.
5. Application fee:
- The application fee for K1 and transfer students is HK$40 per applicant (non-refundable), payable on the day of the interview.
6. Interview Arrangement :
- Date of Interview: 7th November 2026
- Interviews will be conducted in groups. Each child must be accompanied by one parent ONLY.
7. Admission Criteria:
The school’s admission process is guided by the principles of fairness, justice, and openness.
- Overall performance of the applicant on the interview day will be the primary consideration.
- Priority applicants:
♥siblings of current students
♥children of full-time staff
- For whole-day class applications, priority consideration will be given to families with verified practical needs (e.g., dual-income families or families requiring special care).
- As school places are limited, please understand that fulfilling the priority criteria does not guarantee admission.
8. Announcement of Admission Result:
- Admission results will be notified via post on 27th November 2026.
- If parents have not received a notification by 4th December 2026, kindly contact our school by phone.
9. Registration Arrangements
- Central Registration Period: 7 to 9 January 2027 (Thursday to Saturday)Parents of admitted students must visit the school in person during the above period to complete the registration procedures. Please bring the following documents:
(1)The QR code of the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission (2027/28)” or “Kindergarten Admission Pass”
♥Parents are required to present the QR code of the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission (2027/28)” or “Kindergarten Admission Pass” on the day of registration.
♥Parents must apply for the relevant registration documents from the Education Bureau (EDB) between September and November 2026.
♥The EDB typically takes 6 to 8 weeks to process applications, parents are strongly advised to apply as early as possible.
(2) Registration Fee
♥ The registration fee for the 2027/28 school year is HK$970 for half-day classes and HK$1,570 for whole-day classes.
♥ The registration fee will be refunded to parents after the student enrolls in September 2027.
♥Should parents decide to withdraw from the school after registration, a written notification must be submitted to the school. Upon receipt of the written notice, the school will return the “Registration Certificate” or “Admission Pass”; however, please note that the registration fee is strictly non-refundable.
- Parents who cannot register on the specified dates must contact our school by phone to make alternate arrangements. Failure to do so will result in the school place being offered to a waiting list student.
10. Arrangements for Waiting List Applicants
- Should any school places become available, applicants on the waiting list will be notified individually by phone.
- Upon receiving notification of admission, parents of waiting list children on the must present the QR code of the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission (2027/28)” (or “Kindergarten Admission Pass”) and pay the registration fee to complete the registration procedures.
- The registration fee payment, refund policy, and procedures for returning registration documents are the same as those stated above.
11. Other Arrangements:
- A notification letter regarding the payment arrangements for textbooks and miscellaneous fees will be issued to parents in early May 2027.
- Free Pre-school Adaptation Sessions will be held on Saturdays in June 2027 to help children transition and adapt to school life.
12. Remarks
- School bus services are available for students travelling within the Ma On Shan district.
