Curriculum
Chinese
Based on the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide prepared by the Curriculum Development Council, we have designed a “story-emergent literacy integrated syllabus”. Given children’s enthusiasm towards stories, we pick themed stories that match with children’s actual daily experiences. With a story a day, and relevant activities in listening, speaking, reading and writing, children are able to learn each language systematically, which helps raise their interest in learning and builds a strong foundation for their language proficiency.
English
- Nursery class (K1): 26 alphabets, vocabularies, nursery rhymes, oral and phonics.
- Lower (K2) and Upper classes (K3): vocabularies, sentence building, oral and phonics with English story books, oral books and phonics books.
Mathematics
- Nursery class (K1): Amount 1 to 10, concepts (e.g. height, amount), sorting, shapes, distinguishing similarities and differences, elementary statistics.
- Lower class (K2): Amount 11 to 20, revision on amount 1 to 10, comparison among concepts, sorting, shapes, distinguishing similarities and differences, statistics, counting.
- 高 班 (K3) :唱數、1-20倒數、10以內的加法、10以內的減法、分類、統計、比較、時間、錢幣。
Teaching Methods
With a whole-language-based educational philosophy, we take storytelling and activities as approaches to ensure children could learn languages systematically, and thus build up a sound foundation for studying.

Storytelling
Given children’s enthusiasm towards stories and our whole language philosophy, we combine themed contents and storytelling. By reading themed stories to children while adopting a whole-language-based method of reading instruction, we conduct a series of language activities that foster their language proficiency.

Teaching through Activities
Through outings, explorations and themed activities, children could learn through 5 senses, primarily through the perceptual experience of touch.
Besides, we design activities and HighScope programmes in regard to specific themes. We hope to raise children’s confidence and their interest in learning, and thus unleashing their potential.

- 20-minute English session by Native English teachers every day, fostering children’s capability in speaking and listening.
- Free-of-charge pre-nursery class exclusive for enrolled nursery students.
- 1-hour weekly Visual Arts session for K2-K3 students by professional Art teacher, fostering children’s enthusiasm and creativity in Arts.
- Daily Music and Physical Education classes.
- Graceful Library open from 09:30 to 11:30 on Saturdays for our students to borrow books. Also, “Story-telling Moms and Dads” session at 10:00 every Saturday organized by parent volunteers, fostering children’s interest in reading.
- Parent Teacher Association cooperates with the school to organize a variety of events, including parent-child picnic, parent-child contests, subject talks, parent education programme and parent volunteer groups. Parents are encouraged to take part in school events, with a view to understanding the latest educational philosophies and children development, so as to polish up on their up on their parenting skills.

Support for students and parents

School Social Work Service
There are a lot of challenges in raising children while supporting a family these day for both working parents and full-time parents. With a view to assisting parents, we established social work service in 2017. We are now cooperating with the Tsung Tsin Mission of Hong Kong Social Service, providing integrated family services to families of our students.
Service Aspects
- Developmental and preventive activities for students to foster multiple-intelligence development.
- Counselling service for students and parents for early identification and intervention for students of special needs.
- Group training and activities to help with focus, social skills and moral education for students.
- Regular talks, sharing and individual counselling for parents to assist and enhance parenting.
Support Services for NCS students
Support services are provided for NCS students.
Services
- During admission interviews, specific teachers would be assigned to help with translation services for NCS students.
- NCS parents can contact our school through the phone or email for further enquires.
- Assisting students’ Chinese language learning at school.

Campus
Our 739 m² campus consists of a large playground and 7 standard classrooms, each with a Smart TV, projector, wash basin and an Aurabeat air purifier (Aurabeat NSP-X2 AG+Pro). Our graceful and spacious environment comes with facilities that suit children’s needs and development. We also have full coverage of air conditioning, ensuring children could enjoy learning comfortably.
