Admission Information for K1 students (2024)
1. Application for Admission:
- The quota for online registration is unlimited, but the quota for interviews will be capped at 500.
♥If the number of applicants exceed 500, applicants will be randomly picked for the interview; otherwise all applicants will be offered an interview.
♥Priority for interviews will be offered to siblings of graduates, current students, children of staff and board members.
2. Transfer Student Admission (K2 and K3):
- Online registration will be available from 1 March 2024 for those K1 applicants who have not previously been offered an interview as well as K2 and K3 transfer students.
- Applicants can download an application form from our website, and submit it to us by post or hand. We will arrange interviews accordingly if availability arises.
3. Online Application Date and Time: 25/9/2023 (9am) to 4/10/2023 (11:59pm)
- Online registration will be available from 9 am on 25 SEP,2023 to 11:59PM on 4 OCT, 2023.
- Please note that we do not offer hard copies of the application form at school.
- Please prepare a soft copy of your child’s passport photo (JPG, GIF or PNG 1.5×2 inch) for online registration. Please note that your application will not be accepted unless all supporting documents have been submitted.
- All applicants who submitted an application will receive a confirmation by email. If a confirmation email is not received, kindly contact our school as soon as possible.
- A notice about interview details will be sent out to all applicants on 18 Oct.
4. Briefing Session for Kindergarten : 23/9/2023
- In order for parents to have a better understanding of our school, a briefing session will be held on 23 SEP, 2023 from 11:00AM to 12:30PM, which will include an introduction to our vision, mission and curriculum.
- The briefing session is open to everyone interested. Applicants must submit an application form, which can be found by scanning the QR code on our website – “Admission” from 1 SEP to 10 SEP.
5. Application fee:
- K1 students and transfer Student admission fee is $40 HK dollars to be paid on the day of the interview.
6. Interview Arrangement :
- Date : 4/11/2023 or 11/11/2023
- Interview will be conducted in groups, each child should be accompanied by a one parent ONLY.
7. Admission Criteria:
- Overall performance on the interview day.
- Priority applicants:
♥siblings of current students
♥children of full time staff
- Due to limited quota, not all applicants with priority may be accepted.
8. Announcement of Admission Result:
- Admission result will be announced on 8 DEC 2023 by post.
- If parents have not received the result by 13 DEC 2023, kindly contact our school by phone.
9.Registration Arrangements
(1) Registration date: early-Jan, 2024. Applicants MUST submit the following documents in person:
♥A hard copy of “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission (2024-2025)”.or “Kindergarten Admission Pass“
♥Please apply for the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission (2024-2025)” or “Kindergarten Admission Pass” from the Education Bureau between September to November. The Education Bureau typically takes 6-8 weeks to process, therefore, parents should apply it as soon as possible.
(2)registration fee: $970 HK dollars.
♥Registration fees will be refunded to parents of accepted children after September enrollment.
♥If parents decide to change school after registration, please notify our school in writing. The “ Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” will be returned to parents once we receive the written notification; however, please note that the registration fee will not be refunded
- If parents are not available to come on the above registration dates, kindly contact our school by phone for further arrangement; otherwise the places will be substituted by the students on the waiting list.
10. Students on the waiting list
- Students on the waiting list will be notified individually by phone if there are remaining places.
- For successful application of students on the waiting list, parents should present the following items for registration.
♥A hard copy of “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission (2024-2025)”.
♥Registration fee: $970 HK dollars. If parents decide to change school after registration, please notify our school in writing. The “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” will be returned to parents once we received the written notification; however, please note that the registration fee will not be refunded.
11. A notification letter regarding textbooks and extra fees will be sent out by post in mid-May.
12.Pre-school playgroup sessions are free and will be held every Saturday in June, which aims to help children to prepare for their upcoming school life.
P.S. – Please note that our kindergarten does not provide full day sessions.
